The Beginning of SEP in Grenoble

John and I arrived at the Lyon Airport after transitting at the Heathrow airport.. It was 10.40pm and the weather is cold but not as cold as we have expected it to be.
At Lyon Airport, there are buses just outside the airport which goes directly to Grenoble.

It was a long 1-2hrs ride before we finally reached our destination. After a quick look at our map, we headed towards the INPG headquarters, which is just at La Gare SNCF. We waited for 2 hours and knew 2 MExican friends. We were told that we should have gone to our school -- ENSIMAG which is situated on the north east of Grenoble instead. However, we decided to go to our student hostel which we will be staying till 1st February. The tram and train are kind of on a standstill as there is a nation-wide strike. (... how lucky) so we walked a great deal of distance to a busstop. Adding on the the unfamiliar system of transport, we essentially spent 1-2 hrs trying to figure a way to travel =P

This hostel is an international youth hostel and it has branches world-wide. If you are interested, you can check up www.hihostel.com .. =)

Checked our the local supermarket, food and shops on our very first nite.. Oh.. the weather at nite is really chilling! (brrrrr....)

Our second day is spent on the campus where we manage our modules. (still managing and still have mapping to do as I have found out that the internet modules are not reliable. SOME courses which are offered in SEM 1, are offered in SEM 2.

Met up the rest of the Singaporeans for lunch and our dinner is at Xueli and Shanta's place (Pizza!!!) =D

The night is again super chilling. Was staring in amazement how climatised the rest are.. LOL.. well my hood is above my head and scarf around my neck.. =P
